This reserve contains rainforest and wetlands along the floodplains of the Ourimbah Creek. Since 1998 the Palm Grove/Ourimbah landcare group has been regenerating this 2km stretch along the creek.

Access is through a gate on the western side of the M1 freeway underpass on Ourimbah Creek Road.

Birds seen:

Black-faced Monarch, Spectacled Monarch Rufous Fantail, Grey Fantail, Eastern Yellow Robin, Brown Gerygone, White-throated Scrubwren, Yellow-throated Scrubwren, Striated Thornbill, Red-browed Finch, Eastern Whipbird, Regent Bowerbird, Satin Bowerbird, Green Catbird, Brown Cuckoo-dove, Emerald Dove, Bassian Thrush, Noisy Pitta.
