Carcass Island is in the north-west of the Falklands. Sea Elephants can be found at Elephant flats in the north east of the island. We found Carcass to be a great island to photograph the song birds and the Southern Caracara.  A 3 km walk from the settlement around the shoreline of Port Patterson, past Magellanic penguins takes you to Leopard beach and a Gentoo penguin colony.
