Chittaway is a suburb on the south-western side of Tuggerah Lake. It has both lake and river frontage. The foreshore area around Chittaway can be a good spot to see a number of species. Buff-banded Rails can be common around the lake frontage. Striped Honeyeaters can often be found in the Casuarinas in the reserve at Chittaway Point.
