I've been photographing nature for about 30 years. My early focus was on landscape themes, however with the purchase of my first house and the installation of an Australian native garden my focus switched to flora photography. While maintaining my interest in the Australian flora and all things natural I have recently become an avid bird photographer.

I took an early retirement in 2007 from my position as a Production Manager for a multi-national corporation. The plan was to take it easy, spend the time traveling and engage more seriously in what were my hobbies. After about a year of retirement I decided that I needed to get more serious about the volunteer bush regeneration work that I was undertaking, so I enrolled in a Conservation & Land Management Course at TAFE. Having now completed this course, I am looking forward to spending more time pursuing my photographic ambitions. Hopefully the fruits of my labours will be self evident on this site.
